The Austrian Society for Biotechnology was founded on
the initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and
Research and acts as a forum to promote and coordinate Austrian
academic and industrial biotech activities, international collaboration
with particular emphasis on Europe and to stimulate the dialogue
between academia, industry and authorities.
